Boise Raves and EDM Events: Where to Find Electronic Music in Idaho

When it comes to Boise raves and the Idaho EDM scene, Konnexion Music Festival has been at the center of it all. As Idaho’s longest-running EDM festival, Konnexion is celebrating its 10th and final year in 2025. For a decade, we’ve worked to build a strong and supportive community around electronic music, hosting artists across the full spectrum of genres — from bass music to house to techno and beyond — in the heart of Idaho’s beautiful outdoors.
But Konnexion isn’t the only place where electronic music is thriving in Boise. The local scene continues to grow, thanks to the hard work of several dedicated promoters and venues.
Eden Events is one of the new names in Boise for house music. They consistently bring talented DJs and curate events that keep the local house scene strong. Evolve Audio is another important part of the Boise EDM community, promoting a range of house music events and giving up-and-coming artists opportunities to perform. For fans of bigger name EDM acts, Persona Productions has been responsible for bringing major artists and high-energy shows to the area. Aktive Events brings the real rave enegy with their unground techno and riddim events. Previous institutions of the rave scene in Boise include the legendary WOH club, LAMG, Esthetic Evolution, OG Persona, and countless others.
When it comes to venues, Boise offers a variety of spaces that host everything from intimate DJ sets to large-scale electronic shows. The Knitting Factory is one of the main spots for national touring acts and bigger EDM events. Treefort Music Hall, part of the growing Treefort Music Fest family, has become a key venue for electronic artists and multi-genre events. Shrine Social Club regularly hosts underground house, techno, and bass shows, and is a great space for discovering local talent. Neurolux, a longtime Boise favorite, sometimes features electronic nights mixed into its indie-heavy calendar. Space Banana is a newer addition that caters to the underground electronic community, offering a small, dynamic space for late-night dance events.
Idaho’s rave and EDM community may be smaller than in larger cities, but it is tight-knit and growing every year. Whether you are looking for a large outdoor festival like Konnexion, a night of house music with Eden Events or Evolve Audio, or a major artist brought in by Persona Productions, there are plenty of options to experience Boise’s electronic music scene.
